Small games, big fun
The Acubens Game Zone is a set of quick, classic games you can play between classes or on a tea break. Each one takes seconds to learn and a long time to master — Snake gets faster as it grows, Block Stack speeds up every ten lines, and the ghosts in Maze Chase get bolder each level.
All six are written in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript — the same building blocks our students learn in the web development course and the free JavaScript tutorial. A game loop, a grid and a few rules are all it takes.
